Sorry I haven't posted in so long. The kids are much more interesting subjects than me and they've been busy doing their own things for a while. Since my last post, we re-did Leanne's room - need to finish a few little projects and then move on to her bathroom. She's a teenager now so she needs a more grown up room :) I'll try to remember to take some pictures. I had Daniel this past Saturday all day and we had a really good time. Didn't think to take any pictures though. We were playing on the playground across from my house and when some little boys came up, I was banished to my house :) I'm good enough to play with when nobody is around but apparently, it's downright embarassing when other kids are around.
What else? Dan's dad died this past Saturday. He was 88. He's having a ball up in heaven swapping stories with his WWII buddies :) Dan's getting another honorary doctorate degree from Anderson University this time. This is his 4th or 5th - I think he's running out of schools :)
My mom still has her job. Half or more of the workers took the severance package, which is what they were hoping for, so they're hanging on for now and it looks like they'll be okay. Keep your fingers crossed though. My business is suffering too - with Chrysler declaring bankruptcy and GM probably not far behind, things are really iffy right now. Keep your fingers crossed for me too :)
Everybody physically is doing fine. Dan had surgery to repair some tendons in his ankle so he's hobbling around on crutches. I twisted my knee pretty good last night - I'm choosing to believe that it's just sprained and that I didn't tear anything (even though it sounded pretty bad). I'm icing it as we speak and have been hobbling around today. I'll consider going to the doctor if it isn't any better next week.
I think that pretty well catches you up on things. I'll try to be better about posting. In the meantime, hop over to Facebook and look me up there. Me, Dan, Missy and Leanne are all on there and would love to see you :)
